The end customer ran business analysis in Excel — slow, manual, and opaque at decision time. The data process was “very specific,” so off-the-shelf tools didn’t fit. And JLG’s director, by his own description “not technically oriented,” needed a partner who could carry the technical side and explain every step in plain language.
